To tackle the financial disruption, the Finnish Government decided on March 16, 2020 on a financial support package for Finnish economy amounting to approximately EUR 5 billion. In addition, the Government will bring a supplementary budget proposal for the Finnish Parliament with EUR 70 million being allocated to Finnish companies. In addition, for example the Finnish Tax Administration, pension insurance companies, credit institutions, Finnvera and Business Finland have been exploring ways to relief the economic stress many Finnish companies are going to experience during the months to come.
